In wanting to expand their potential customer base, Claire Craig and Amanda Shepherd asked me to build them an online presence and help to kickstart their ski instruction business. They wanted a social media presence, a website that could be kept updated easily and used modern technologies to be both good looking and accessible to many people and devices. This later included the addition of a fully featured automated online booking system, ecommerce platform and gift card system so customers could book a lesson or get a gift card extremely easily. Wordpress was used as it would offer ease of future expansion, be editable by Claire and Amanda, and is great for getting a site online and looking good in a fairly short amount of time.
